A Quick Update

Standard

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know what’s going on with this site and other quick updates around here.

Since my last post, I’ve started working on a social media marketing consulting business and have since worked with a variety of local restaurants, barbershops, personal trainers, and even a school. It’s been a truly rewarding experience and I’m excited to be able to help entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level and attract clients they wouldn’t otherwise be able to reach. For me, it’s important to help people understand how SEO and PPC strategies can help them expand their market reach and how to effectively manage (i.e. not overspend on their advertising budget) their accounts.

I’m still writing. Product journalism is still my passion and I don’t see myself moving away from it anytime soon. To that end, I’ve partnered with GStyleMag.com to provide Camera and Photography-related product reviews and insight.

After mulling it over for a while, I’ve decided to relaunch my portfolio page on a separate domain. This will continue to function as my writer’s portfolio. So instead of having people come to one site expecting one thing over another, it’s easier for me to refer people to specific sites – this one for writing samples and quick links to my byline and albertolima.photography for my photography portfolio.

I hope you take a moment to check it out and if you know someone that’s in need of professional photography services, I hope that you consider sending them my way.

Cheers.

It’s been a while since my last update and though things have been quite on this front, I’ve been keeping busy writing at MirrorlessMinutes.com and for Adorama Learning Center. It’s been a helluva ride so far. Loving what I’m doing.

As I’ve mentioned before; as a Samsung Imagelogger, part of the deal is that I have to send them feedback and photos. Over the last year I’ve acquired quite a number of photos and have begun the process of editing them – not just technical things like exposure or composition – but true self-editing; identifying the images that move me (and I hope they in turn move you).

Well if you’re interested in my photography away from Instagram, be sure to check out my portfolio page: AlbertoLima.Photography.

Feedback is always appreciated.

Welcome!

Who you lookin' at? Oh, well then; carry on.

Who you lookin’ at? Oh, well then; carry on. Pictured above: Me, Alberto Lima.

I’ve been on the fence about starting another personal blog but to be quite honest I can’t keep from writing.

Over the last couple years I’ve found myself working along some really dope and talented folks – from some great non-profits during my stint at Philanthroper.com to the amazing Imagelogger team. It’s been a blessing to create some great content across various fields and disciplines.

Getting some formalities out of the way: I am a writer for hire and have begun getting my feet wet as a photographer. If you’re interested working together feel free to hit the About page or email me via the link below.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mostly my opinions on the world of tech and beyond.  You’ll also be taking a peek into my personal photography notebook – an inside look at how being an Imagelogger has changed my approach as a photographer.

So let’s build and see where this goes.
